Lately..

Went to the doctors last week. Got a picture of the baby! It looks like a human now! No more elbow macaroni (which WAS it's name). The little peanut was putting its hands over its face. Good strong heartbeat and the doctor said it was growing beautifully. Made me proud :) Got my blood poked and taken, not so much fun.
In less than a month we go for another ultrasound thingy and MAYBE find out the gender. I am putting my money on a boy, Frank says a girl. Today my mom said GIRL but a week ago she said boy. Who knows.
Possible names we are maybe kind of pondering about:
BOY- Ethan, James, Robert
GIRL - Clara, Madelyn, Ellen, Kylie, Annabelle

On the trip out to Colorado we stopped at Burger King for breakfast and I got an apple juice. The expiration date is our due date!

Im not sure why its not bigger. Those things confuse me.
Started working at my new Petsmart. I love it so far. Its still work, but at least theres no drama like before. It's nice to actually pay attention to my grooming instead of... well I'm not even going to mention any of it. Regardless I think I'm getting much better at grooming and will be certified in cat grooming this week. I love kitties! Go figure - we only have 8+.

Cutest pug ever.

A couple things I've learned from pregnancy.... ALREADY

First of all: Is he not the cutest pug ever?!?!?!?!?!?

So thank goodness for El for her advice to ask my doctor about Zofran. AMAZING. Thanks El!

So here are a couple things I've learned:

- Even though I am sometimes deathly thirsty, DO NOT gulp any water or liquid. It will always come back up. Surprisingly I still don't have this idea down. Maybe someday i will remember.

- The smell of fried chicken makes me barf on the spot. I'm not sure if this is because I've been vegetarian for so long or because I was vegan for a couple years before this pregnancy? Either way it is like pushing a barf button. Anyways. Someone in my apartment complex cooks this on their grill almost everyday.

- I can be pretty crabby.

- Popsicles are great.

That is all for now.

I am 6 Weeks and 5 days

I still can't believe it! It's incredible. An amazing surprise. We've gone a little over board on our excitement. I hope to keep this blog up to date. Thanks for the inspiration El!!

So this is a picture of Frank!

2nd Post

This is my pug, Kermit. He as super fat when we got him, but we've managed to get him down to a normal size. I took him to pugfest this year where he got a free bath and nail trim in a mobile grooming truck. He snores, sneezes, snorts, and licks EVERYTHING! oh my gosh, even the air. REALLY. He gets a long well with everyone although he can be a tad rough with the cats.

That's pretty much it, I'm not really in the mood to type. He's a great dog and i love him dearly!

Whoa my first blog!

I guess in the first one I'm going to show off my children (4 legged furry ones). That first one is my freaking cute little bungalow in North Portland across from a beautiful park. I live there with my girlfriend Jen, whom I am very in love with, and our lovely, spoiled rescued pets.

THIS is my Puffin Mcmuffin. He's is my sunshine. Jen and I got him when he was 2-3 days old and bottle fed him. It was up and down with his health and there were times we did not think he'd make it through the night. He's 8 months now, no where near the weight he should be. He is polydactyl, loves to cuddle, kisses, and attacks your legs randomly. Puffin has some sort of problem with his GI tract so sometimes puffin "leaks" on the floor. We don't mind cleaning after him. He's family. He also has a problem with his eye that became so infected the third eyelid grabbed on to his eye and makes it watery and annoying for him. He's had surgery on it once, but it is slowly coming back. My hope is that he grows out of his leaking problem :)
